The Great Pyramid of Egypt ~ a marvel and a mystery, probably the greatest wonder of the Ancient World, stands today as an earthly landmark visible even from the moon ~ a massive silent sentinel from the long ago past. What is its story?
Most Egyptologists believe the Great Pyramid was built by King Khufu as his burial tomb around 2600 b.c.e. Others believe it was built at a much earlier time by a lost civilization for mysterious purposes. Some consider the incredible skill and synchronicity of measurements relating to the dimensions of the earth, sun and moon, to be beyond human capacity. Some search for codes in its numbers and measurements to prophesy human history on the earth.
Many enigmas of the Great Pyramid are explained in Oahspe, especially its real purpose. From Oahspe we find that the belief that it was built as a burial tomb by an ancient Egyptian King is only partially true, for it was built not as a tomb but a temple. There were indeed "burials" but these were only temporary. Subjects were interred alive in the stone sarcophagi (a similar sarcophagus to the existing one was reported to be in the Queen's chamber by Idrisi, an Arab who died around 1166 AD.) in a condition of "suspended animation" practiced by adepts of an ancient Egyptian cult of Osiris. After a certain period (30 and more days) the "astral traveler" would revive from his "death cast" and live to tell of fabulous "near death / out-of-body" experiences. And moreover, within the Pyramid's dark interior chambers, spirits of the dead would appear and communicate with mortals.
Modern day researchers experimented with pyramids and found they had a capacity to prolong the freshness of organic matter. Some researchers thus believe that pyramids can produce a vortex where certain energies flow. We can see how this power must have been known and utilized by the ancients --- by being located in the Great Pyramid, the augmentation of life energy within adepts while in "the death cast" allowed them to remain in "suspended animation" for relatively long periods of time without serious damage to their flesh.
Some have attempted to penetrate the mystery of the King's Chamber by an over-night stay, including Alexander the Great and Napoleon. The following morning Napoleon emerged from the pyramid visibly shaken, refusing to comment on his experience. Paul Brunton, investigator and writer, also spent a night in the King's Chamber in the early 1930s. He describes his experience in his book, A Search in Secret Egypt, werein he recounts his encounter with spiritual presences and how he was given a sampling of the adept's "out of body" experience. |

Who Built the Great Pyramid?
Is there any credence to the theories that the Great Pyramid was designed and built by other worldly intelligence? According to Oahspe, this is also partly true. The ancient Egyptian King who built the Great Pyramid was an adept of the death caste and he had the ability to see and hear the spirits of the dead. The prevailing spirits in his time and place were Osiris and his servant angels, who gave him instructions for the plan and construction of the Great Pyramid.
Oahspe reveals the name of that long past Egyptian King as Hojax, who called himself Thothma, meaning "The God Thoth", after the first Thoth. It was neither vanity nor policy that prompted Hojax to assume this adopted name ~ but a tale, often repeated to him by the spirits who attended him, convincing him that he was the reincarnation of the original Thoth. Oahspe, Book of Wars against Jehovih, 25/48.15, 17-29. Thothma could hear the Gods and talk understandingly with them. And to him, Osiris, through his angel servant God, Egupt, gave special care from his youth up. At the age of sixteen years, Thothma passed the examination in the house of philosophy, and in astronomy and mineralogy. At seventeen he passed The Builders School and the Histories of the Thousand Gods. At eighteen he was admitted as an Adept in Life and Death, having power to attain the dormant state; and to see without his mortal eyes, and to hear without his mortal ears. At nineteen, he ascended the throne at the death of his father and mother..... So Osiris, through his servant God, Egupt, spoke to Thothma, saying: My son, my son! Thothma said: I hear you, O God, what do you desire? Osiris said: Provide a dark chamber and I will come to you. Thothma provided a dark chamber, and then Osiris through his servant God, came to him, saying: You have great wisdom, but you forget your promise! Thothma said: In what, O God? Osiris said: When you were in heaven, you said: Now I will go down to the earth and reincarnate myself, and prove everlasting life in the flesh. || For many years Osiris had told this same [false] thing to Thothma until he believed faithfully he had been so in heaven, returned, and reincarnated himself for such purpose. And he answered Osiris, saying: It seems like a dream to me, even as you speak about it. Osiris asked Thothma what was the greatest, best of all things? Thothma said: There are only two things, corporeal and spiritual. Osiris said: True. What then is wisdom? Thothma said: To acquire great corporeal knowledge in the first place; and in the second, to acquire spiritual knowledge. But tell me, O God of wisdom, how can a man attain the highest spiritual knowledge? Osiris said: To come and dwell in heaven and see for one's self. Thothma said: How long must a man sojourn in heaven in order to learn its wisdom? Osiris said: One day; a hundred days; a thousand years; a million years, according to the man. Thothma said: If one could leave the corporeal part for a hundred days and travel in heaven for that amount of time, would it profit him? Osiris said: To do that is to master death. Behold, you have already attained to power of the dormant state. To control the course of the spirit; that is the next lesson. Thothma said: Behold, O God, I have attained to the power of the dormant state, even as the magicians who submit to be buried for ninety days. Yes; and I go in spirit from my corporeal part, and see many things, but my soul is like a breath of wind, and goes at random. Osiris said: Provide me a temple, and I will come and teach you. Thothma said: How to preserve the body for so long, so that it is not damaged ~ that is the question. The magicians who have been buried long, upon being dug up and resuscitated, find their bodies so damaged that they die soon after. (And have you, O God, a remedy?) Osiris said: You shall build a Temple of Astronomy, and dedicate it to Osiris, Savior of men and angels, God of heaven and earth. And it shall be built square with the world, east and west and north and south. And the observing line shall be with the apex of the Hidan vortex [the celestial pole around which the stars spin over a 24 hour period], which lies in the median line of the variation of the north star (Tuax). In the form of a pyramid you shall build it; I will show you every part, measure for measure. And you shall provide such thickness of walls that no sound, heat, or cold can enter it; and yet, you shall provide chambers within, suitable for yourself, your chiefs, and your friends, who are also adepts. For I have also provided the earth for heaven, and heaven for the earth; and my angels shall come and dwell for a season on the earth, and my earth-born shall go and dwell for a season in heaven; yes, they shall come to me on my throne and see the glories I have prepared for them. Nor shall my temple be exclusive, but open to all who will pursue the philosophies of earth and heaven. For which reason you shall build it [in alignment] with the sun, moon and stars; and it shall be a testimony to the nations of the earth that you are the highest of all mortals, and first founder of everlasting life in the flesh. For as the angels of heaven can return to the earth and take upon themselves corporeal bodies for a season, so shall you master your own flesh to keep it as you will. For this is the end and glory for which I created man on earth. |

Portrait of Thothma, (Hojax).
The builder of the great pyramid in Egypt, and one of the greatest adepts that ever lived. He could hear the Gods and talk with them understandingly, and could cast himself in the death trance and go spiritually into the lower heavens and return at will. He was under the inspiration of the false God Osiris through his great angel servant Gods, Baal and Egupt. He labored to establish immortality in the flesh; that is, to make the mortal body incorruptible so that it would never die. But with all the forces of his will and by his great learning he could not stay the withering of the flesh, and he died on the day he was one hundred years old. |
Was Thothma that same king who scholars of Egyptology believe to be King Khufu? The only historical account available comes from Herodotus, written sometime in the 5th century b.c.e. in his book, "An Account of Egypt". He describes Khufu as a cruel tyrant who closed temples and enslaved the people in order to build his pyramid tomb, which took his whole reign of 24 years to build. An Account of Egypt by Herodotus Down to the time when Rhampsinitos was king, they told me [Herodotus] there was in Egypt nothing but orderly rule, and Egypt prospered greatly; but after him Cheops became king over them and brought them to every kind of evil: for he shut up all the temples, and having first kept them from sacrifices there, he then bade all the Egyptians work for him. So some were appointed to draw stones from the stone-quarries in the Arabian mountains to the Nile, and others he ordered to receive the stones after they had been carried over the river in boats, and to draw them to those which are called the Libyan mountains; and they worked by a hundred thousand men at a time, for each three months continually. Of this oppression there passed ten years while the causeway was made by which they drew the stones, which causeway they built, and it is a work not much less, as it appears to me, than the pyramid....
Not all of these
details match the kingly builder identified in Oahspe, i.e., Thothma
impressed 200,000 people to build the pyramid and it took 24 years to build.
But during his long reign Thothma also built a large number of temples,
public monuments, and institutions of learning. Yet we find some
corroboration to Herodotus' account of Khufu's cruelty; of him closing the
temples and not allowing the people to conduct worship and sacrifice. For
when Thothma
enslaved the worshipers of the Great Spirit, he forbade any public
worship or expression of their faith in public. This indeed would have
involved closing many temples and houses of worship for there were 2 million
Faithists in the Great Spirit living in Egypt that he enslaved, after many
more who would not submit to slavery had been driven out or slaughtered.
The name Timaus is also given, which contains elements of Thothma, i.e., T-i-ma-us.
Manetho's Timaus Manetho is quoted by Josephus and others, as saying "We had formerly a king who's name was Timaus. In his time it came to pass, I know not how, that the deity was displeased with us; and they came from the east and when they had our rulers in their hands they demolished the temples of the gods" (see coreys fragments, p257) This Timaus of Manetho is doubtless the same person as the Chemes of Diodorus, the Ceops of Herodotus, and the Chufu or Suphis of the monuments'. And that "some say they were Arabians" which left Egypt in large numbers and went to "That country now called Judea, and there built a city and named it Jerusalem"..... Joseph A. Seiss, D.D. The Great Pyramid: A Miracle in Stone. 1973. Steiner Books.
According to the timeline of events in the 2400 year cycle from 3950 to 1550 b.c.e. as related in Oahspe, the Great Pyramid was constructed / completed around 1950 b.c.e. An adjustment to Egyptologists' dating of the Middle Kingdom, requires the time line for the Middle Kingdom (and consequently the previous Old Kingdom) period to be placed approx. 230 years later than Egyptologist allow. (See Dating the Exodus) Oahspe's timeline locates the construction/completion of the Great Pyramid around 400 years before the end of the 2400 year cycle which ended in 1550 b.c.e. which was also the end of the Middle Kingdom ~ in 1950 b.c.e., at about 125 years before the beginning of the Middle Kingdom. According to Egyptologist there was a 100 year intermediate period (a time of instability and change) between the Old and Middle Kingdoms in which a succession of rulers follow the last and longest reigning King of the Old Kingdom ~Pepi II.
From Moses' history in Oahspe, we learn that not long after the Great Pyramid was built, Egypt was invaded and sacked by foreign kings. Oahspe, Book of the Arc of Bon, 27/17.17. Moses said....You do remember, when, in the ancient days great Thothma built the first pyramid, your forefathers decried the power of heaven; and immediately all the land, and the great pyramid itself, was flooded over by evil spirits. And then came foreign kings, who robbed and plundered Egupt. Do not think, O king, these legends are only idle tales; there are Gods and Lords in heaven who could sweep the sea up, and drown all this country.....
It is apparent that one of the last rulers of the Old Kingdom was Thothma, but his identity among the surviving Egyptian kings lists remains uncertain. Perhaps there is some substance in the stories Herodotus recorded about the builders of the Giza Pyramids: An Account of Egypt by Herodotus This Cheops, the Egyptians said, reigned fifty years; and after he was dead his brother Chephren succeeded to the kingdom. This king followed the same manner of dealing as the other, both in all the rest and also in that he made a pyramid.... And Chephren they said reigned fifty and six years. Here then they reckon one hundred and six years, during which they say that there was nothing but evil for the Egyptians, and the temples were kept closed and not opened during all that time. These kings the Egyptians by reason of their hatred of them are not very willing to name; nay, they even call the pyramids after the name of Philitis the shepherd, who at that time pastured flocks in those regions....
It is little wonder too that the identity of Thothma is so obscured in Egyptian history, for, if we take into consideration what Oahspe reveals about the subterfusion of the priests in the case of Thothma II for Thothma I, we have, perhaps, the beginning of a dynasty that is not based on traditional family inheritance. Furthermore, dates are further confused due to a revision of the records around that time ~ according to Oahspe, in an attempt to bring some order and consensus to earlier Egyptian records, Thothma changed the records and substituted arbitrary dates and life-spans for ancient personages. This attempt to reconcile dates just created even greater confusion and left the records in a worse state than they previously were. Oahspe, Book of the Arc of Bon, 27/20.20. Thothma had said to his recorders: In searching for the truth of legends, give the latitude of it. For one legend will say, such a man lived seven hundred years ago; another legend will say he lived one thousand fifty years ago. The latitude between them is, therefore, three hundred fifty years, which shall be the time of that man's life. || And in this way latitude became confounded with fact, and with no intent to deceive. And behold, it came to pass that the records were worthless;
Besides Khufu, are there any other Egyptian kings who may fit the identity of the Great Pyramid builder? Oahspe provides numerous details about Thothma, including his genealogy. It was Thothma's mother who was the daughter of the previous Egyptian King ~ according to the Egyptian kings lists Pepi I's mother was the daughter of the previous king. Thothma's parents died young ~ according to historical accounts, Pepi I's father was killed before he had ruled for more than a few years. Since Thothma lived to such a great age, 100 years, it is possible that his direct heirs no longer survived to contend for the throne. Pepi II, the last ruler of the Old Kingdom, was supposed to have lived to 94 years, and a lack of surviving heirs is a possible reason Egyptologist give for the end of his dynasty. It is also possible that the reigns of Pepi I and Pepi II were combined thus giving such a long date. It also may be that two lines of kings ran concurrently for a number of generations, i.e., Thothma's unrelated adept successor and Thothma's own descendents. Perhaps Thothma's descendents resented the subterfuge of the priests and alligned themselves to "foreign kings" against the new Thothma? In any case, unless more accurate timelines for earlier Egyptian kings come to light, the historical identity of Hojax, the Builder of the Great Pyramid remains uncertain.
Construction and Use of the Great Pyramid
As one contemplates the awesome expenditure of time, labor and resources that such a project as the Great Pyramid would involve, it becomes clear that the motivation to commit to such a feat would have to be strong enough to warrant the cost. And it apparently was ~ nothing less than Everlasting Life in the flesh was promised to Thothma. Young and naive, he trusted and believed his angel guides, carrying through with their instructions for building the Great Pyramid, also known as the Temple of Osiris, a.k.a. the Temple of Astronomy.
Thothma's eventual death proved that everlasting life in the flesh was an impossible promise, however, the special qualities of the "holy chambers" of the Great Pyramid did preserve the flesh to a degree, enough that adepts, after leaving their physical bodies for a lengthy period of time, returned to find their mortal bodies none the worse for wear.
Oahspe, Book of Wars against Jehovih, 25/50.30. And during Thothma's reign more than four thousand men and three hundred women graduated to the rank of adept, all capable of the death trance, and of going about in spirit. And within thirty years over seven hundred of these were permitted to test the cast of the holy chambers in the pyramid. And their spirits were conducted into Osiris' heavenly regions, and sojourned there for many days, and returned to their bodies unharmed. Because of the position of the chambers, there was no action upon their bodies while in the swoon.
Oahspe reveals that instructions for the Great Pyramid's alignment and dimensions were given by Osiris to Thothma. This "beyond mortal ability" helps to explain why the Great Pyramid demonstrates knowledge and skill unequaled with what mortals can build even today:
Oahspe Book of Wars against Jehovih; 25/48.26-27. Osiris said: You shall build a Temple of Astronomy, and dedicate it to Osiris, Savior of men and angels, God of heaven and earth. And it shall be built square with the world, east and west and north and south. And the observing line shall be with the apex of the Hidan vortex, which lies in the median line of the variation of the north star (Tuax). In the form of a pyramid you shall build it; I will show you every part, measure for measure.
Precise measuring of the Great Pyramid has shown that it is almost perfectly aligned to North, South, East and West, and the descending passage points to the North Celestial Pole (1' west of true north). These features were described in Oahspe as being requirements for the Great Pyramid which served also as a "Temple of Astronomy". In Oahspe we find that "the observing line" is aligned to the "apex of the Hidan vortex", being the exact point of the celestial pole.
Many scholars believe the Great Pyramid, as well as various other pyramids, was built with their descending passages (entrance passages) aligned to the North Star, which, during the pyramidal age was Thuban in the constellation of Draco. Some scholars, therefore seek to date the Great Pyramid by when it was aligned exactly to the North Star. One problem with this is that the dates of various alignments vary considerably without any clear evidence that any particular date is accurate and correct. Also, because Thuban was only closest to the celestial north pole position at its lowest culmination, supposedly around 2170 b.c.e. (and from other sources, around 2141 b.c.e.) this provides only a small window of time for when it could have been built.
One interesting theory for such a necessary alignment is, according to Richard A Proctor, that this alignment as well as another North Star alignment of an air shaft in the king's chamber were required as sights and markers during construction so that the pyramid itself could be built aligned to true North. But this means that the pyramid could only have been built in a small window of time, as well as having particular problems of accurate sighting. Oahspe's account however shows that Thuban was not in the exact position of true north and Thothma had to take a median line between Thuban's various positions as it circumnavigated around the ecliptic pole in a 24 hour period. Most scholars also agree with this method of finding true north:
The question
of the method followed in orienting the pyramids has been the object of a
detailed study by Zbynek Zaba. The documents prove beyond any doubt that the
initial operation in erecting an important structure in Egypt was the
ceremony of the "stretching of the cord" by which through the
observation of stars with some sort of transit there was determined the
North-South direction. The East-West direction was marked by tracing a
perpendiculiar to the basic line.
Pyramids and temples were built by ancients long before even the Step Pyramid of Djoser was built around 2850 b.c.e., and so Thothma was well learned in various schools of knowledge required to build a pyramid temple. With directions from Osiris' angel servants, he set about the pyramid's construction, impressing a large labor force into servitude for that purpose. He gained access to master temple builders whose knowledge was passed down from the ancient orders of Anubi established around 3000 b.c.e. Oahspe, Book of Wars against Jehovih, 25/7.9. The fourth degree taught the arrangement of the heavens; the places of the sun, stars and moon; the places and grades of the unseen worlds; the localities of the lower and higher heavens;....the key to the place of the north star; the position of the earth's vortex; the vortices that move the corporeal worlds and hold them in place; and the rules for building temples and pyramids, with their spirit chambers....
To extract the participation and labor of enough skilled and unskilled workers, Thothma was ordered by the angels of Osiris to enslave the people who worshipped the unseen Great Spirit, the I Am, and forcefully expel those who would not be subdued. The descendents of those who remained became known in later generations as the Israelites who were liberated from slavery and led out of Egypt by Moses around 1550 b.c.e. Oahspe, Book of Wars against Jehovih, 25/49.1-7. Osiris then instructed king Thothma to drive out of the land of Egupt all the Faithists who could not be made slaves of, especially the shepherd kings. Thothma impressed an army of two hundred thousand warriors, and drove off the shepherd kings, putting to death more than three hundred thousand of them. And he took from the Faithists all their possessions, such as houses and lands, and did not allow them to hold any mortal thing in possession; neither permitting them to till the soil, except as servants, nor to engage in any other labor except as servants. And to escape the tyranny of Thothma, there went out of the land of Egupt, three million Faithists, including the shepherd kings, the unlearned. And in regard to the Faithists who remained in the land of Egupt, Osiris, through king Thothma, made the following laws: You shall not possess any land, house, ox or any beast of burden, nor cow nor calf, nor shall your people possess an altar of worship, temple, or place of sacred dance. But you shall be a servant and a servant of servants all the days of your life. But in your sleeping place and in the sleeping place of your family you shall do worship in your own way, nor shall any man molest you there regarding that. You shall not openly profess your doctrines under penalty of your blood and your flesh; and you shall no longer teach in the schools or colleges; nor shall your children receive great learning. And of your arts, of measuring and working numbers, you shall no longer keep them secret, or your blood shall be upon you. And if you say: Behold, the Great Spirit; or Jehovih, the Ever Present, you shall suffer death, and your wife and your children with you. And if a man questions, to try you, asking: Who created the world? You shall answer: Behold, God! And if he asks further: Do you think the Creator is Ever Present? You shall say: No, he is like a man who has finished his labor, he sits on his throne in heaven. And if he asks you further: Where is God? You shall answer: On the Mountain Hored, in heaven. And if he asks you still further: Is the Ever Present a Person? You shall say: No, the Ever Present is void like the wind; there is only one ruler in heaven and earth, even Osiris, who is Lord the God, Savior of men. Whoever does not do these things shall be put to death; whoever does not bow to Thothma, my earthly ruler, shall not live, says God. || These laws were entered in the libraries of Egupt, and also proclaimed publicly by the scribes and seers. And yet even with these restrictions upon them, more than two million Faithists remained in the land of Egupt.
Oahspe
described the organization of workers on the pyramids before Egyptologists
knew about the division, specialization and management of labor. Since
Oahspe's first publication in 1882, a worker's village was unearthed.
According to seals and pottery shards found among the ruins, this village did
not exist in Khufu's time, but was built approx 100 years later. But from
these ruins and "mason markings" found on the internal stone
blocks, Egyptologists found that workers on the pyramid were well organized
in groups with leaders and overseers. Specialized in labor and divided into
guild-clusters.
Oahspe, Book of Wars against Jehovih, 25/49.8-9. And it came to pass that Thothma began the building of the Temple of Osiris (pyramid), and he impressed two hundred thousand men and women in the building of it, of which number more than one‑half were Faithists. And these laborers were divided into groups of twelves and twenty‑fours and forty‑eights, and so on, and each group had a captain; but for series of groups of one thousand seven hundred and twenty‑eight men and women, there were generals, and for every six generals there was one marshal, and for every twelve marshals there was one chief, and these chiefs were of the Privy [advisory] Council of the king. And the king allotted a separate work to every chief; some to dig canals, some to quarry stone, and some to hew the stones; some to build boats, some to provide rollers, and others timbers, and yet others capstans [a type of pulley].
Scholars have long pondered the method of procuring and transporting the enormous, heavy rocks and plotted the course of canals to the building site. They have sought the ancient quarries where the various limestone and granite was sourced and the forests of timber by which the floats and ramps were built. They have tried to determine what kind of tools, ramps and pulleys were used so efficiently and expertly. Oahspe presents detailed descriptions of all of these ponderables. Oahspe, Book of Wars against Jehovih, 25/49.10-19. In two places the surveyors found stone with which to build the temple, one was above the banks of the great river, Egon, at the foot of Mount Hazeka, and the other was across the Plains of Neuf, in the Mountains of Aokaba. From the headwaters of Egon a canal was made, first to Aokaba, and from there it descended by locks to the Plains of Neuf, and then on to Gakir [Giza], the place chosen by the king for the temple to be built. And as for the logs used in building, they were brought down the waters of Egon, from the forests of Gambotha and Rugzak. These logs were tied together and floated on the water to the place required, where, by means of capstans, they were drawn out of the water ready for use. Now the stones of the temple were hewn in the region of the quarries. And when properly dressed [prepared, shaped, smoothed and finished as required], they were placed on slides by capstans, and then, by capstans, let down the mountainsides, to the water, upon which they were to float to the place required for them. The floats were made of boards sawed by men skilled in the work, and were of sufficient length and width to carry the burden they were designed for. And at the bottom of the floats were rollers, gudgeoned at the ends. Now when a stone was let down from the place of its hewing on to the float, it was ready to be carried to its destination. And when the float arrived near Gakir, ropes, made of hemp and flax, were fastened to the float, and by means of capstans on the land, the float was drawn up an inclined plane out of the water, the rollers of the float answering as wheels. When all things were ready for building the temple, the king himself, being learned in all philosophies, proceeded to lay the foundation, and to give instructions as to the manner of building it. These were the instruments used by the king and his workmen: the gau [a triangle with plumb-line for finding, e.g., the level and elevation angles], the length, the square, the compass, and the plumb and line. Nor were there any other instruments of measure or observation used in the entire building of the temple. And as to the measure called a length, it was the average length of a man, after measuring one thousand men. This length was divided into twelve parts, and these parts again into twelve parts, and so on. After the first part of the temple was laid, the builders of the inclined plane began to build it also, but it was built of logs. And when it was raised a little, another layer of the temple was built; then again the inclined plane was built higher, and another layer of the temple built; and so on. Thus the inclined plane, which was made of wood, was built up as the temple increased in height. The width of the inclined plane was the same as the width of the temple, but the whole length of the inclined plane was four hundred and forty lengths (of a man). The floats carrying the stones were drawn up this inclined plane by means of capstans, and by men and women directly pulling also. Thothma spent twenty-four years building the temple; and then it was completed. But it required another half a year to take away the inclined plane used in building it. After that it stood free and clear, the greatest building that had ever been built on the earth or ever would be. Such, then, was Thothma's Temple of Osiris, the Great Pyramid.
According to Oahspe, Thothma had canals built to transport stone from two sources. To procure the huge amounts of stone needed for his pyramid, he had to find a way to bring it out of inaccessible places. Thothma had canals dug to transport the huge quarried stones to the pyramid site. We find that in surviving historic accounts, Pepi I was the first king to dig a canal in upper Egypt which was used to transport Granite for pyramids and obelisks. This along with other previously mentioned details adds weight to Thothma being a later king than Khufu - or alternatively, Khufu's time is incorrectly dated, or his various names may have been mistaken for separate individual kings Canals for Transporting Granite Blocks The first major shipping canal was constructed under Pepi I (6th Dynasty), when the rocks of the first cataract were pierced. This helped the Egyptian army to extend their hold on Nubia, from where raids had been conducted against Upper Egypt. The canal .....[also enabled] the transport of blocks of granite and obelisks downriver on sizable ships. The canal had a length of 90 metres, was ten metres wide and nine metres deep, carved through granite.....Andre Dollinger; Reshafim, Israel.
Once the temple was completed, Thothma and his priests took turns in the "death cast" and returned with experiences of the lower heavens, having being guided by Osiris' angel servants. After Osiris revealed his ambitious plans to return the spirits of the dead to earth and to make the pyramid his abode, he had Thothma construct additional superstructures to the Great Pyramid: Oahspe, Book of Wars against Jehovih; 25/50.15-19. ....Osiris said: Behold, I will bring back many who are already dead; and they shall call to their embalmed bodies and wake them up and inhabit them. Go, then, to the root of the matter, and prepare my people, for I will come in person and inhabit the temple you have built; and my heavenly kingdom shall descend to the earth. Therefore, prepare the Column of the Stars! Thothma built a column to the east line of the slat, seven lengths [approx 35 - 40 ft], and the height was thirty‑six lengths [approx 180 - 200 ft]; of wood and stone he built it, with an opening from the bottom to the top, and the width of the opening was six lengths [approx 30-34 ft]. In its walls was a winding stairway, and there were windows looking out to the east and west and north and south, so that the stars from every quarter could be observed. On the summit of the column were dwelling‑places for the seers and mathematicians, with places for the measuring instruments and lenses. When this was completed, Thothma built an external wall of wood and stone across the slat of the temple; and within this wall were stairs also, and these led to the top of the pyramid. This wall was also provided with windows, so that the northern stars could be observed. Thothma made an observing column for the sun, and it was provided with lenses of all colors, so that adepts standing at the base of the pyramid could see the sun at every hour of the day, and distinguish the spots and their changes. A gau was set within each of the angles of observation, so that the position of the sun relative to the northern stars could be determined every day. By using these two columns, therefore, Thothma and his mathematicians measured the sun, moon and stars as to their distances and sizes. |

Column of the Stars
A depiction of ancient star and sun observatories from Oahspe. It was structures similar to these that were built onto and adjacent to the Great Pyramid on its North Wall. A stairway also led to the top of the pyramid |
As to the attached buildings to the Great Pyramids described in Oahspe, there is evidence that there were some constructions attached to the pyramid. Remaining foundations of outer walls close to the base of the pyramid on the North, South and West sides still exist. On the east side appears to be the remains of a building. Egyptologist believe these are the remains of a low enclosing wall around the pyramid with a large "unusual" mortuary temple on the east side. Great
Pyramid Evidence of Buildings/walls attached to the Great Pyramid All that remains of the Mortuary temple of Khufu are the remnants of the floor which was paved with black basalt. The floor plan is much larger than the chapels associated with the Pyramid at Meidum and the Bent Pyramid. The temple is very different from Mortuary temples that preceded it or followed it. Sockets are evident in the floor which would have held the granite pillars that comprised the colonnade that surrounded an open court. At the western end of the temple is a recess thought to be a sanctuary and signs of an outer wall. This is flanked by two vestibules. The interior walls were made of limestone and were carved with fine reliefs. There are no sign that there were any niches in this temple. This temple is the first known temple to make use of limestone, granite and basalt.......Guardians.net.
Any outer walls would have been built after the pyramid was constructed. And all the large stone blocks would have been pulled up to the height of the building-in-progress along a long building ramp which stretched perhaps half mile out toward the canal. The blocks were winched out of the river on their floats (which had rollers beneath them) onto an inclined ramp. "During the construction of the Gizeh pyramids, a canal was excavated leading to a depression near the pyramids, which could be used as a port for unloading the granite blocks shipped downriver. The water level in all these canals fluctuated greatly being dependent on the level of the Nile. They therefore did not construct quays but beached the boats on the gentle slope of the basin in order to discharge their cargoes." [Thus, they didn't construct solid wharves or banks but pulled the floats up on an inclined plane from the water.]......Andre Dollinger; Reshafim Israel. "It is also possible that the causeways stretching from pyramid to valley temple might originally have served as builders' ramps from quay to construction site (the quay being connected with the Nile by canal)."......BBC UK; History.
A 4 x 10 ft stone found on the northeast side of the North wall by the Eyptoplogist, J.P. Lepre, may be further evidence of an adjoining structure on the northeast side of the north wall, as described in Oahspe. About 70 feet along the north side of the Great Pyramid from the northeast corner is a 4x10 ft stone sunk into the foundation at an angle. The joints are very precise and this is the only stone in the foundation perimeter not at a right angle to normal construction. It would have been covered by the mantle [casing stones] but is now accessible since the mantle is gone. It is very likely an entrance. No further investigation has been done....(from an account by J.P. Lepre 1990, pp275-278)
Hidden Codes and Secret Chambers
Are there hidden codes in the measurements, and numbers of prophecy, in the pyramid? Perhaps. Prophecy by numbers and cyclic occurrences was Thothma's forte. Oahspe reveals that Thothma's gathering of knowledge for prophecy, including predicting periods of drought, extended to regions far beyond Egypt's borders. Was one of the oldest monolithic sites in England one of Thothma's outposts? || Stonehenge is a very sophisticated standing stone circle, which contains the sum total of knowledge found upon the Great Pyramid, Khafre and Menkaure. Its pedigree is indelibly linked back to those magnificent structures. Whoever built Stonehenge was utterly conversant with the age-old mathematical formulas, geodetic navigational systems, astronomical methodologies and measurement standards found upon the Giza Plateau of ancient Egypt.|| ..........Martin Doutre
Oahspe, Book of Wars against Jehovih; 24/50.19-20,22,24. And Osiris commanded the king to send his wisest mathematicians into the distant lands of the earth, to observe the winds of heaven, and the drought upon the earth; and the abundance of the yield of the earth in different regions, in different years and seasons; and to observe famines and pestilences, and all types of occurrences on the face of the earth. He said to the king: When your mathematicians have returned to you with their accumulated wisdom, you, or your successor, shall examine the sun, stars and moon, and compare them to the things that the mathematicians shall relate, one year with another; and three years with another three years, and five with five, and seven with seven, and so on for hundreds of years, and thousands of years. And when you have taken in the term of three thousand three hundred years, and compared the sun, moon and stars, as relate to the occurrences of the earth, you shall have the key of prophecy for three thousand three hundred years ahead. And you shall say of this land and of that land; and of this people and that people, how it will be with them, and you shall not err. ||...... And they went throughout Arabin'ya, Vind'yu, Jaffeth, Par'si'e, Heleste, and Uropa, even across to the western sea (Atlantic Ocean); and to the southern extreme of Arabin'ya (Africa), and to the great kingdoms in the interior; and to the north of Heleste, Par'si'e, and Jaffeth, to the regions of everlasting snow......[When the gatherers of information returned] Thothma had these things rewritten and condensed into books, and named them books of great learning, and they were deposited within the south chamber of the pyramid, where harm could never come to them.
From Oahspe, we learn that the Temple Pyramid also served as a repository for knowledge, i.e., a library. Where then are the chambers in which this vast amount of knowledge was stored? Until recently, only those chambers which could be accessed via the entrance and connecting corridors and tunnels were known to exist. However, in the 1980's and 90's various electronic and ultra sounding investigations revealed there are numerous large cavities, now apparently filled with sand.
A team of French engineers in the late 1980s found a mysterious cavity or void behind the masonry of the corridor leading to the Queen's Chamber.....A fiber-optic camera was inserted and showed the cavity empty of treasure but half full of sand, which upon testing proved to be radioactive! ......Robert Schoch, The Great Pyramid and the dawn of civilization; Robert Aquinas McNally, 2005.
Were such spaces once chambers used by the builder and his successors? Were they filled with sand by the same people who plugged up the entrance to the kings chamber with huge granite plugs to keep out the unworthy and uninitiated? |
The exact measurements of the Great Pyramid are not agreed upon by the experts. Therefore the following figures are just a guide for approximation.
|
Dimensions and Measurements of the Great Pyramid |
One acre =
43,560 sq. ft, or 208.71 feet on a side. Height = (755.321 x tangent 51deg 51 min)/2 = 480.783 feet. Or 480.783 x 12 = 5769.403 inches. For the cap stone base: length = width = (32.18 x 2)/tangent 51deg 51 min = 50.55 inches.

The Great Pyramid and the Earth, Sun and Moon.
What of the synchronicity in the placement and dimensions of the Great Pyramid with the sun, moon and earth? Some researchers have found that the Great Pyramid is placed in the center of the earth's land mass. Oahspe reveals that the pyramid was built at the centre of the earth IN TIME, i.e. at the midpoint of earth's lifespan. Oahspe, Book of the Arc of Bon, 49.20. Jehovih had said: Suffer them to build this, for the time of the building is midway between the ends of the earth; and now is the extreme of the earth's corporeal growth; so let it stand as a monument of the greatest corporeal aspiration of man. For from this time forward, man shall seek not to build himself everlastingly on the earth, but in heaven. And these things shall be testimony that in the corporeal age of the earth, man was of like aspiration; and in the spiritual age of man, in an opposite condition of corporeal surroundings; for by the earth I prove what was; and by man prove what the earth was and is at certain periods of time.
Earth Moon Pyramid and Pi Relationship
● The earth / moon relationship is unique in the solar system. It contains golden section ratio that "squares the circle". Also, the moon and the sun appear to be the same size, most clearly visible during an eclipse. This too is only from looking from the surface of the earth's.
● Squaring the circle was found to be mathematically impossible in the 19th century (pi is irrational and therefore cannot be exactly measured), but the Earth, the moon, and the Great Pyramid, come very close to the solution. If the base of the Great Pyramid is equated with the diameter of the earth, then the radius of the moon can be found by subtracting the radius of the earth from the height of the pyramid.

This map shows that the Great Pyramid is located at the center of the land mass of the earth. The east / west parallel that crosses the most land and the north / south meridian that crosses the most land intersect in two places on the earth, one in the ocean and the other at the Great Pyramid (at the cross). |
